Lesson 17: The Grass Isn’t Always Greener…

The Gypsy — The Ink Spots

Bruce is one of those clients that I really believed I would find love for, and very quickly at that. To say that Bruce is a catch is a serious understatement. He is a Harvard graduate doctor that is ready to find the love of his life.

Bruce also has children, but he told me that he did not want to date women with children. I found some perfect matches for Bruce, but they have children as well. So I talked to him and he agreed that broadening his horizons was probably for the best. Besides, he would have more in common with women who have children as well.

I was very excited about Demi. She is a lovely and intelligent, blue-eyed, black-haired beauty with two children. I thought both Bruce and Demi would agree that they are perfect for each other, so I set up the date. Bruce and Demi agreed to go out on a Monday night.

Everything went swimmingly. Demi enjoyed the company of this tall, handsome, smart, and sweet Harvard doctor. Naturally, Bruce asked her if she would consider going out with him again, and Demi’s response was all too familiar to Bruce.
